A poem about my fiance and her eyelashes.
To my love
I cannot
describe you
but I can
love you
& I will
envy those
who answer phones
no one's home
try again
I love you
Thanks for calling.

You fill me
with love and responsibility
you support me
like
well
ya know
This isn't your first day
at being my wife
you've been a comfort
& a source of shelter
from ever since
my eyes
told
your eyes
be my wife I am your husband

I wet the bed
with my opened
water bottle

(happy birthday)
what do you want?
I want to wet the bed again.

eyelids youlids
they hide all of you
but just a little bit of me

yours have pretty lashes
they lash me destroy me
they whip whipe me
I'm aslave to your lashes
you blink or wink
& and I'm Mayed immovable
scarred and bled and puss-d and scarred
your onetwothreefourfivesixseveneightnineteneleventwelvelash lashes lash my eyes and rend my heart into pulpy sponge shreds
imagine my pain if you wore braids or dreads or plugs or bestofall freckly pigtails.
