Beyond God’s grasp, we have trapped ourselves in a labyrinth we cannot hope to escape.
Chasing in an endless circle,
Wound up in a dead end.
Heard a thousand lies,
It was all the same in the end.

Looked up at the blank sky.
Heard a whisper behind my back.
Everyone wearing a mask,
Unwilling to face the fact.

Cliché, our lies had become,
No longer do we bother to hide.
Yet no one is listening.
We see with only one eye.

A story told too many times,
Spun by the wheels of lies.
We continue to walk down the past,
We are all lost inside.

Taking a step forward,
Into the foggy mist.
End up two steps backward,
Yet we continue to persist.

Lost in this false façade,
Blinded by the lies.
Trapped in a closed box,
Muffle out the cries.
