For writer's cramp about rain
Gray clouds gather,
electricity is in the air.
The rain begins to fall,
drip drops splatter on the ground.

Lightening brightens the sky
and thunder shakes the earth.
Cool water splashes me and
runs down my face.

The air is cooler now and
the sky is dark as ebony.
Safe inside the house, my cats
run and hide, as do my children.

Finally, the darkness passes.
Blue skies return, the ground is soft.
The air smells fresh and
the earth has been quenched.
