From laundry to lofty thoughts,
the rhythm of the day.
Pulsing heartbeats of flesh and steel churn away
At soft armor soiled and stained from struggles, toil, and play.
They emerge renewed, cool and soft.
Neatly folded and then carried
From basement to loft.
