A poem about the irony of emotions.
Passion - so intense and overwhelming
Yet, it falls as quickly as it rises
Love - so gradual and beautiful
Yet, its aftermath can be quick and ugly
Grief - so torturously painful
Yet, in the end, it makes us stronger
Regret - so very depressing
Yet, somehow we still find happiness
Emotions are...
Beautiful and ugly
Depressing and joyous
Quick and gradual
Our greatest weakness, but, at the same time, our greatest strength
Living with them can be torture
Living without them would surely be an even greater agony
