At First Sight

At first sight
You seemed so wonderful
Perfect in every way
At first sight
You stole my heart
I didn’t know what to say
At first sight
You seemed too good to be true
But I didn’t realize at the time
At first sight
You were so beautiful
But that happiness could never be mine
You broke my heart
But even still
I somehow have feelings for you
Eventually you made me realize
Indeed you are too good to be true
At first sight
I was blind
Your charm was nothing but fake
At first sight
I should’ve looked away
I could’ve prevented a heartbreak
