A true "Boy's Own Adventurer". Reading the Boy's Own Annuals as a kid was not enough. I had to get out and experience the adventure myself.
As an Honorary Chieftain of an Irish Clan & retired Soldier/Private Security Contractor, I have fought on & travelled over sections of the old silk road, stood upon ground fought over by the armies of Alexander. I’ve paid respects at the grave of a Gael Chieftain buried almost a millennium ago and marched shoulder to shoulder with current Hereditary Chieftains in the largest gathering of Irish Clans since the Battle of Kinsale.
Lots of stories in my head, and a few may end up here.
