I was born in 1948; graduated from Texas A&M/Texas Maritime Academy in 1971, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1977. I became a Master Mariner (Captain) in the U.S. Merchant Marine in 1982, and have practiced law as a trial attorney since that time.
