All instruments of will, all means to an end. Why human beings always want what they don’t have? Why do they desire that which cannot be obtained? Why do they believe in things that are impossible? Eternal paradox.
It’s how we are built, it’s in our DNA; or is it something that gets passed down form one generation to another? Who was the first to ever want anything at all? Beyond the biblical meaning and teachings, how come we always want that which is different? And why do we always believe that particularly THAT is the object of our happiness? And above all, why do we suffer up to the consummation  of our very own selves because of it?...
It is our own personal reason for living; nevertheless, it drives us to the end of our existence. It all comes down to black-or-white- like decisions, and judgments: it is precisely white because it cannot be black, because we didn’t put all out efforts and being and will to make it black. This is how we measure our successes and our failures.
We cry because we are happy, we laugh even if we are sad, antagonisms throughout our pitiful existence.
They say this is the very fabric of our nature: not merely will, but rather want. And thus suffering…
