Very short Easter poem, written for a greeting card.
The skillful hunter knows his prey,
And the places that it hides.
The Hunt’s a game all ages play
For the fun that it provides.

The skillful hunter learns his trade,
Improves with trial and age.
A rite of passage, a crusade,
A war of wills engaged.

The skillful hunter keeps the pace,
On lightning-quick strong legs.
No greater thrill than when you chase
Elusive Easter Eggs.
