Some puzzling thoughts that my heart thinks...I think...
It’s a big box of color;
Pieces with rounded edges
And matching slots,
But it reminds me of
The torn photographs
You left in a stack
On my coffee table.
You could have scattered
Them to the wind
And the loss would
Have hurt as much.

The picture on the box
Shows a blissful scene;
Nature with the sun
Smiling upon her.
Cloudless skies and flowery fields
Abound in this land of dreams,
Yet I feel like the reverse;
A negative image of photos.
You and nature scattered.
The loss of heart pieces
Has hurt me much.
