The Delivery



I see in her
what was not
known to me.
Bright eyes twinkling,
rosy cheeks laughing,
outpouring of love.
Playful tickles,
hide and seek
big bear hugs.
Big laps for sitting.
boxes for surprises,
rocking chairs for naps.
Granddaughters are
Angels sent to
bring smiles
to those who have
None of their own.
