Half a Soul


When you died
You left me behind
I could not feel
Losing you so real
My best friend no more
I am alone forever more
The silence of your voice
Was never my choice
Your gentle kind spirit
Makes my heart twilit
Not a word in anger
You were my anchor
You took half my soul
Leaving me unwhole
