Be calm, breathe, move the mind to a pleasant place, acknowledge the thoughts and emotions that arise and let them go.

I am learning so many different forms of poetry I never knew existed. Unfortunately I did do a search for a list of all the forms of writing poetry but get a generalised list of the main things. Definitely did not come across the Idian Ovi form in my searches.
Maybe I will come across someone who can list all the forms for me to look up and learn. Did find a poetry course online but there was no ovi mentioned in the course.
I did enjoy the read though and am sure I will be learning a lot in the future.

Very nice descriptive poem of how your postive mind can override pain and still you can give to others despite it all. The power of the mind can heal many things.
Most people are asleep in their loneliness without realising it.
Even though new possibilities may arise, they never open their eyes.
Having money gives you more time to do what you wish but not having someone to share it with, they are still lonely.
Even though people may be in a relationship they are still lonely and feel alone and still they will sleep and go throug life the same and never really open their eyes.
All to true, our youth actually teaches how to live our lives at a laters stage, everything and everyone teaches a lesson that we need to learn and sometimes the lesson is to walk away.

I can totally relate to wanting that one last phone call.

Also does tell how much we rely on our phones or at least how distracted we are by it that all the dead in the dream have a phone.
Also eerie about the light or going into the light, that it is a phone screen, digital devices have pretty taken over the living, leaving many people empty shells clinging to their devices instead of embracing the living.
I know the frustation of laundry. Why does it seem that most of the stain remover stuff they sell just does not seem to work, seems more of a money making gimick than anything else.
This is so sad, poor doggie still waiting and guarding.
Underlying though is the psychology, that we all follow things because that is what we were taught, indoctrinated to do. All of society teaches things that are contrary to our nature, the instilled memory of dualistic teachings to keep us line ingrained into us to prevent us from just being, being the way we were created to be.
In days gone by they used to put pennies into fruit cakes, expecially around xmas time.

A poem of pain and loss, struggle for self acceptance and joy and love. Pain overruling all that can be good.
Many feelings have come and gone in my heart - while we think that feelings have come and gone even over a period of time they linger just below the surface.
I've yearned for these touches - are feelings of loss, some profound, some less so. Being touched can be very healing for the heart and soul but sometimes they are painful reminders.
But it hurs me - unresolved emotions of pain, that we cling to. Pain is the most powerful addiction that exists, if we learn to let go of the pain and step into our own, we can overcome the feelings of loss and experiences the touches that make us feel alive.
If these feelings are real - all feelings are real, how much of them hold truth is up to how honest we are with ourselves and they will be enough, if we learn to accept who we are and not who we are expected to be.
Are they beginning a new chapter in my life? - when you allow yourself to feel with your soul, every moment becomes a new chapter, it is a matter of choice what you allow yourself to feel, joy vs sadness.
When would I let that be my turn? - when you let go of pain, when you accept who you are, accept that what is gone is gone and all you have is the moment - the choice to be who you were always meant to be, without the opinions of the world to weigh you down, when you can find joy in every moment and see the beauty that surrounds you.
A nice reflective poem that contrasts the suns brilliance with moon. The sun is associated with light and happiness where the moon is often associated with the sombre and melancholy.

The rhythum though is a bit broken with the lines in each verse changing, you go from 4 lines to 6 lines. Do not know if this is a form of poetry to write this but it feels a bit fragmented. Also you have heads as plural.

A lovely dipction of looking within and finding the inner child and reconnection with the innder child. We all need to connect with the inner child, with the place of innocence that dwells within us, so we can learn things we have forgotten like pure laughter.
