Everyone knows Skeet
On the ranch where he grew up
The first time I saw him
He was just a spotted pup

He grew up on the ranch
Learned to round the cattle up
He stays with the cowboys
A regular spotted pup

Skeets been here eight years now
Works mostly from our pickup
We’re needing a new dog
Just another spotted pup

Neighbor has a female
We’ll try to hook ole Skeet up
With some ranch dog romance
We might get that spotted pup.
