Not any story will do.
The Facade

Words empty and shallow
A love story to put on a show
His face even had a glow
Must've thought I'm slow

Eternal, love he described
This I must scribe
Another drink I'll imbibe
So I can catch his vibe

Once in a lifetime what a laugh
This idiot is such a raff
For him I imagine a cenotaph
While I order another draft

Words he weaves, thinks it magic
His lewd suggestions tragic
My laughter becomes manic
His bubble burst - anti-climactic
