From such a height the fall will take a lifetime I hope.

Wow
I am high
Way up here
Above the ground
Past the sky
Higher still
Beyond hope
Atop reality
In a stratosphere
Of a deeper duality
I’m not sure
I don’t really know
How I got up here
Was it I alone
Who climbed
To such a height
Or was I brought here
Most willingly
Or against the thrill
Of seeing the world
From so far beyond
I wonder how long
The fall will be
Will it take a lifetime
Or will be instance
Will the rush of wind
Change any ideas
I’ve ever had about living
Will I understand the doom
Or will I just go with the flow
I just won’t know
Until I step off this
Nonexistent ledge
Beautiful
Is this endeavor
Coming from so low
To this height
So far above
Past the sky
Higher still
Beyond hope
Atop reality
In a stratosphere
Of a deeper duality
I’d like to think
I will require a shove
But being pushed
In any direction
Is far better than living
As I have come to know
In a life increasingly devoid
Of what it means to live…
