Give It 100 goals for 2016: exercising every day and keeping a food diary. |

Ideally, I would like to get back down to 62kgs, my ideal weight, by the end of 2016. Other accomplishments I'd like to reach are: To be able to do 70 push-ups, 12 chin-ups, and run 5kms. Day 38: Dancing! (for 6 hrs :-[) 10 push-ups |
Day 37: Ran/walked 2km 10 push-ups New record: 10 push-ups. :-[ |
Day 36: 5 push-ups 50 sit-ups New record: 50 sit-ups. :-[ |
Day 35: Walked 1km 5 push-ups Wow, what a crazy day. I literally did not have time to exercise more. |
Day 34: Ran 2.5km Rowed 7km (27:52mins) 12 push-ups Set two new records: 5 push-ups in a row; rowed 7km in 27:52 mins. Made up for one lost day. |
Day 30: Ran 2km. Rowed 5.3km (24 mins). My Progress: |
Day 29: Ran 2km. 3 push-ups. 10 sit-ups. |
Day 28: Walked 2km. 3 push-ups. 10 sit-ups. |
Day 27: 3 push-ups. 11 sit-ups. A lot of frustration, a little depression. I need to get back into the groove. I was going so well two weeks ago! |
Day 25: 5 push-ups. Not much, but I just didn't have time. |
Day 24: This time I have an excuse -- I was in a car the whoooole stinking day. It was a very long drive back and I was tired. But that evening I did do some dancing with friends, but I'm not going to count that since it was more recreational that disciplined. So it's another missed day. Four down, ten to go. I'd better catch up. |
Day 23: Unfortunately I didn't get any serious exercise done. But does wrestling a shark count? :-[ Also had an arm wrestle with a friend...and won. Missed day. |
Day 22: Walked 5km (yeah!). Caving/climbing (if that counts! ). I walked barefoot along the beach and the sand was quite tough on the old leg muscles (and I got rained on!), but it was a beautiful night and I enjoyed it. Caving was a breath-taking adventure! It involved quite a lot of walking and climbing in the darkness of the Abbey Caves, near Whangarei. |
Day 20: Ran 4km. Swam. That's better! :-[ Up a mountain, too. (Guilt feelings from the last two lazy days.) |
