This story made me cry. I have a cocker spaniel and a five year old boy. She probably would have done the same thing. I am going to write a story about animal/computer also. OUr cocker will be seven in May. The one thing I can say is that dogs are very loyal. This is a beautiful and heartfelt. Good luck with the contest. Write On!

Review of Fifty things

I just read the list. I really liked it. It was very interesting. Being physically challenged, I cannot do some of the aformentioned things. I would have to think of what I would place on my list. {wheels start turning}. Great read and Nicely done! Write ON!

Review of My Visit to ER
Rated: E | (4.0)
While reading this, it reminds me of the times I have spent in the Emergency Room. My last trip was Mother's Day, 2004. I had to have my fall bladder removed. There are a few typoes in the piece. The bad choice I made was reading this ajust AFTER I ate. The detail and imagry were very graphic in a good way. Write ON!

Review of No Need To Tell
Rated: 13+ | (4.5)
I usually do not read these types of stories, but the title intrigued me. Once I started reading this, it had me hooked. I was really going with this then I felt as if I was at the edge of a cliff and about ready to fall. This story seems to need a little more. Maybe you could get into Eric's reaction more. After all, he was just blindsighted. This is a really good story. Keep it up. Write On!

This is a very cute and funny picture. I did not know you could add writing like that. I am not as verse in Photoshop though. It is all greek to me. I would love to have all the dogs in my apartment. Although Shadow, my cocker spaniel, would think otherwise. Write On!

Review of The Muddy Seed
Rated: E | (4.0)
This is a well told story. However, I think you need to make paragraphs for an easier read. There are a few places where you have words spelled wrong or the wrong tense. Kevin reminds me of my ex-husband. He would always do the wrong thing and blame others{mostly me} for theoutcome. He has never taken responsibility for his avtions or his life. It is sad that there are people in the world like that. The character of Uncle Brian was a very sympathetic person. I wish my father was that way, but alas, no such luck. He was also a police officer. Great Read and write. Keep it up!

Review of Thomas' Pain
Rated: ASR | (4.5)
Never let it be said that turkeys are smart animals. I was actually rooting for Thomas and his friends. This story was well written and I enjoyed the imagry it provided. As I read it though, I thought of my son. he is five and I do not think he would enjoy it. Unfortunately, this is something that has to be done in order for us humans to have Happy Holidays. Great Read!

Review of Hidden

this poem is well written. As I read it, it reminded me of my life and the turmoil I have suffered. I know that writing poems or stories is a real good way to purge the feelings that one has for life. I will check out your port and see what else you have in store. Write On!

Review of The Funeral
Rated: 13+ | (4.5)
this story is very well written. I loved the flow and the imagery. The possibility of a loved one communicating with the family after their passing is very real. I had a feiend who passed away on my birthday this past April. There are times when I can smell his pipe tobacco and I sense that he is around me. I also felt that with my grandparents and uncle. I'm sorry I reviewed this on such a horrible day. Write On!

Review of Revenge

This is such a great dialogue. I was going to write one but time got away from me. The girls is a real gold digger. She's a real b----. I liked how she played on a family's sympathy toward someone they don't even know-yet. I wonder how this scenerio turned out. Write on and Congratulations!

Review of Pugsly
Rated: E | (5.0)
Pugsly looks like a real sweet dog. I am glad he brought you and your family a great deal of happiness. I am very sorry for your loss. How old was he? I experienced that same type of loss twenty-three years ago when we lost our cockapoo, Sandy. I will keep you in my prayers. BTW, sorry for the Yankees loss yesterday. I love the Tigers. Take Care.

This is a wonderful poem. It had me at the edge of my seat. The poem's anticipation and imagery were great. As I read this, I was picturing my son when he is a bit older. The difference would be that instead of a cat, it would be a dog. My son would probably have a scare until he finds out what the image was. Great poem. Write ON!

Review of Procrastination
Rated: E | (4.5)
I expected something totally different. Can you really call this an essay? I guess what I expected was an essay on how and why you procrastinate. This is more of a quote. It could, if it is not already a bumper sticker. I am the first person to procrastinate. After a few days, I realize that the task needs to be done. Short, sweet, and to the point. Good Job!

This is a story within a story. I really liked this story. It was a mystery/suspense/thriller. It was really something how the guy who was writing the story knew to write THAT particular story. Old homes like that can hold many secrets. There was never an explanation as to why the house sagged. Was it an earthquake? It scares me to think that parents treated their children as possessions instead of people. Another thing that was not clear is whether Carolina is brain damaged or not. You are a excellent writer and I hope you will continue to bless us with stories like these. Great Work. Write ON!

First of all, good luck on the LSAT's. I wish I had your ambition and drive. I remember when I was growing up, people would ask "what do you want to be when you grow up? This question was almost never posed to me. Nobody expected me to "be" anything. Of Course, I would say a teacher. The reason I chose that profession was because I wanted to be the one doling out the homework and tests. I did become a teacher, but not in the usual sense. I teach my son every day. I wish you all the best with your judicial endeavors. I'll get you a nice briefcase when you start accumulating all those high profile cases.

This event reminds me of when I was a kid. I remember asking my parents about what was going on in the news. They are both prejudice and started calling them the "N" word also. I was probably around 6-7. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. What I liked about the poem was its imagery. There was not anything I disliked about the poem. My overall impression of the poem is that it is well written and full of past images that are scary even today. Great Work!

This event happened two days after my birthday. This event was, to me, just another news item. This poem reflected more on your moving day. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. What I liked about the poem was how this event, although important, didn't dsitract you from your plans. There was not anything I disliked about the poem. My overall impression of the poem is that it was a daily occurrance, unfortunately. It is too bad that a child had to pay for the crimes of wayward adults. Write On!

This is a historical event that I knew nothing about. I did not see any typoes or other mistkes. What I liked about the poem was its description. What I disliked about the poem was trying to find out how this affected you. It may just be me, but I did not see any. My overall impression of the peom is that it is well written, although the affect has escaped me. Write ON!

This was a good and interesting poll. I never saw Bambi as a child. the first time I saw it was with my son last year. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. What I liked about the poll was the choices. There was not anything I disliked. My overall impression of the poll is that it is very thought provoking. Write ON!

Review of Dog Pack Attack!
Rated: 13+ | (4.5)
This poem had me going till I read the last lines. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. What I liked about the poem was its flow and how it told the story. There was not anything I disliked about the poem. My overall impression of the poem is that its imagry was excellent. I was under the impression that the person was being attacked by a pack of pitt bulls or dobermans or other ferocious breed. Great Job. Write On! Winklett, this is a wonderful story. My heart goes out to you and your family. My sson is five. Although he is considered noraml, he has had speech difficulties since age two. Like you, we sought intervention immediately. Matthew will be attending kindergarten in the fall. If there is anything I can do to help, to listen, or just to provide a shoulder, please let me know. Jonah is a beautiful boy. You are truly blessed. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that God will show you the way.

I really like this story. The imagry is fantastic. However, it seems to leave the reader hanging. What caused the wife to die? How long were they married. Did they have a family? How did the wife's death affect other family members? I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. What I liked about teh story was how allowed the reader to follow along and see what was going on. The only thing I disliked was that it needed to be added to a bit to explain things. My overall impression of the story is that it is a great dtart to a great story. Write ON!

You sound like a well rounded, intelligent person. Yours is the second profile I've read like this in the past two days. After seeing your and the other person's,{name escapes me} I plan on writing one of these so that everyone will know a bit more about me. Thanks for the idea. It's nie to meet you, Nikki.

Sophy, they are cute. Are they spoiled? How old are they? I did not see anything wrong with this photo. My impression of the photo is that they both seem to be hams for the camera and love to have their picture taken. Have they been in dog shows?

Review of My Bio Extended

Thanks for sharing some tidbits of your life. I will have to check out your port as well as your family members's ports. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. What I liked about your bio was that you told the reader about yourself and what your interests are. There was not anything I disliked about the bio. My overall impression of this piece is that it is very informative and well written. Thank you for the snapshot into your life. Write ON!
