It is Well With My Soul -
Whenever I am feeling down, or feeling burdened, this song often comes to mind for me. It was penned due to tragedy and loss, the story is below, along with the lyrics of the song. When you hear the stories and reason that this song is written, you too may well say to the Lord, "It is well with my soul."




I like to listen to this version of the song sung by Guy Penrod and David Phelps: It just takes my burdens away and lifts my eyes and focus on God and His love and mercy.
