Dysfunctional U.S. Politics Blues I'd like to start my day by watching the Morning News while drinking a snarling hot fully loaded cup of coffee but after a while the news got to me and I get the political blues watching politicians and leaders behaving badly putting partisan interests ahead of the country Te recent example of the U.S. House of Representatives voting out their speaker for the crime of cooperating with the Democrats to avoid a costly Government shut down and then not selecting a new speaker for almost two weeks risking a real government shutdown amid the on-going wars in the Middle East and Ukraine wildfires monster storms crisis on the southern border all which demand robust Federal government intervention and lots of money it's just more proof. that American politics is totally dysfunctional. at the end of the day I turn off the TV. and put in some music. and then go for a walk. with my wife after dinner drink some wine and unwind by watching K dramas. with the love of my life by my side forgetting for a moment the total dysfunctional politics in both the U.S., Korea, and the entire planet. |
