here's where I will occasionally post my more political writing |

here's where I will post some of my more political writing. I am somewhat left of center, having grow up in Berkeley, California, but i have very conservative friends and family members. and am following US politics from my home in South Korea. I retired from decades working in the State Department where we were schooled in being non-partisan. I also know that political writing offend some people. If you don't agree with my point of view that is fine, if you wish to comment please keep it civil. I am tired of reading intemperate postings on social media, and to be fair some of the comments on the left are just as offensive as comments on the right. Sad state of affairs, but I hope my writing won't be too offensive. |
