166.31 This morning in Venice; Questa mattina a Venezia
This morning in Venice

I love this place on calm summer days.
Naked masts point to the sky
and the haze
opens the morning.
There are people to ferry
and goods to load off.
The white of the buildings
and the pink of the dawn
reflect on the green ooze of our lifeblood.
Vendors gather in plazas
while I sing pizzicato
in the voice of a boy.
"May all life be a calm summer morning"
then burst out in joy.

Questa mattina a Venezia

Amo questo luogo tranquillo giornate estive.
alberi senza le vele punto verso il cielo
e la nebbia
si apre la mattina.
Ci sono persone di traghetto
e per il transporto di merci.
Il bianco degli edifici
e la rosa del mattino
riflettere sulla melma verde della nostra linfa vitale.
I venditori di raccogliere in piazze
mentre io cantare pizzicato
poi esplodere in gioia,
"che tutta la vita può essere una tranquilla mattina"
nella voce di un ragazzo.
