The Continuing Saga of Prosperous Snow

It’s a Dangerous and Powerful Universe
It’s a dangerous universe with rogue black holes roaming the outskirts of the Milky Way and probably every other galaxy that exits. Rogue black holes lying in wait to swallow innocent planets and starships. Rogue black holes desiring to pull apart molecule-by-molecule and cell-by-cell stars and living creatures.

Anyway, the theory goes like this. In the beginning, black holes were in the centers of small galaxies with low masses. As time passed, these little galaxies were attracted to other similar galaxies and collided to form larger galaxies. Eventually enough of these galaxies collided to form the Milky Way and other huge galaxies.

When the black holes of the small galaxies collide they merged to form a single black hold called a “relic” black hole. During this process, gravitational radiation emissions occurred. These directional emissions increased the speed of black holes and caused them to attain escape velocity allowing them to escape the host galaxy. However, the black holed did not go fast enough to get out of the neighborhood all together. Therefore, the “relic” black holes collected in the halo of the Milky Way and other galaxies, where they now wait.

The black holes in the Milky Way’s halo probably contain masses of between 1,000 to 100,000 suns, which is a lot of horsepower to use the old fashion energy term. The only way to identify these black holes are when they are accreting (swallowing) any type of matter. If we could find and harness the energy of these black holes, we wouldn’t have to worry about oil reserves or wind power. We would have enough energy to power our factories, our homes and our cars, with a lot of energy leftover to play with.

It’s a dangerous and powerful universe with black holes lurking in the halo of the Milky Way galaxy. Black holes waiting on the outskirts of our galaxy, waiting for humans or any other sentient species to find and learn to use them for good or evil.
