Life Is What Happens When Your Waiting & Birthday Bash

Blog City – Day 182

Monday - September 1 (Day 1 of THE LIST)
Monday's prompt: "A life - Its the stuff that happens while you wait for moments that never come. Comment, expound, elaborate, reiterate or contemplate.

THE LIST begins. A friendly reminder: The list may not be the entry, it must compliment and accompany the entry. The List must have a title, include 14 (no more, no less), be on the same page as the entry, and be tied to your entry thematically in some way (if it is obscure - be sure to clue us in on the link). All other Blog City guidelines still apply.

Life is the stuff that happens while you wait for moments that never come. That sounds so sad. To not be passed over like that one needs to get up and take on each and every day. You may be waiting, you may be hoping, but that does not mean you will stop living in the moment while you wait. Those things may never happen, there is no guarantee and you really don't want to waste your life.
Sometimes I find myself living like that... waiting, hoping, expecting. We get what we get went we get it. No sooner, no later. You need to face that and be actively engaged in your life or one day you will wake up and wonder where the hell it went.

Not sure I understand this list concept... I don't have a sponsor.

Day 1 of The List – The stuff that happens while you wait....
14 ways to start something new once you send off your manuscript.
14 bookshelves to resort and organize
Create a list of 14 blog prompts to use when no one sends out the prompt for the day.
Get to over 14 piles of rubbish to sort through now that you have some time.
Take 14 minutes and see how many words you can write,
Do 14 reviews to Newbies and give them a welcome to WDC.
Make a list of 14 things to do and think it was easy.... ha ha ha, it is so, not.
Order 14 new books from Amazon.ca after checking the other sites to make sure I got the best deal.
Order 14 items from the WDC shop to set up my home office.
Do a cardio workout that has everything done in repetitions of 14.
Jog around the block and see if I can do it in 14 minutes.
Walk around my block 14 times and see what kind of step count I can get.
Do 14 piles of laundry that has been neglected because I was busy writing.
And last but not least, take a 14 minute quickie nap...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Border for my personal use.

30 Day Blogging Challenge

Open Prompt

Birthday Bash has come and WDC is abuzz and aflutter. What to take part in? How to do things? Do I need a sponsor? Can I just go for it?
I have decided to do a lot of poetry and reviewing. I have signed on to 2 poetry adventures, now all I have to do it write, contribute and not forget what I have signed up to do.
I am continuing with my blogging and my monthly reading challenge, though I have decided 3 books is my limit this month.
