The Wildcard Thursday prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS"  What's on your summer reading list? My summer reading will consist of the books I have hear at home. I am attempting to finish rereading the Lord of the Ring series and a book in the Pern Dragon Rider series that I haven't read. In addition, I plan to read and review on writing.com. The past few weeks or months I have limited myself to reviewing shorter pieces, but I want to correct that this summer by reading at least one or two longer pieces each week. I don't intend to purchase any new or used books this summer, but that doesn't mean I won't buy a new or used book. The purchase of a book depends on two things (1) how interesting the book looks and (2) my finances. If find the book interesting and the characters intriguing (after I read the first paragraph) then I will find the money to purchase the book. If I don't find the book interesting enough to purchase then I might check it out at the library. The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" prompt for Day 809Write about the last book you read or the book you are currently reading. I'm still working on rereading the Lord of the Ring series. I got side tracked when I went into the hospital in February. When I was released I focused on healing and writing. I'm now back to almost my old self. I know this because I'm attempting to clean out the draws of my desk. I will return to the book I was reading when I went into the hospital and then move on from there. |
