Melting Snow

There are several books on my To Be Read List, but I'm not looking forward to reading any of them. I think I need to read something different. Read something I usually don't find interesting. Alternately, I may need to make myself sit down, pick out one of my books and make myself read it. I think I'm in a rut and need to change something in my life or do something out of the ordinary to get my self motivated. I think the first thing to do is see if my library card is still valid, so that I can check out some books at the library. In the meantime, I will read The Dragon Book at night when I can't sleep instead of writing or laying in the recliner staring at the red light in the smoke alarm and counting the seconds between its blinks.
