The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for Day 1282
Many people showcase their pumpkins like art objects of porcelain or potter. Do you feel this way about displaying your pumpkins?

I neither carve nor display pumpkins for Halloween or any other autumn holiday. My mother pained some carved pumpkin statues that she displayed every year. When I moved, I gave them away because I knew I would not display them and had no place to store the things. I figured they would just get broken in the move or afterwards. My mother was more into decorating for holidays then I am. My mother was more into decorating then I am.

When Mom was alive, we celebrated Halloween. Mom enjoyed seeing all the children dressed as zombies, vampires, princesses, other fantasy creatures, or politicians. The most I will do for any fall holiday is write a story or poem about a memory or some fantasy creature. I hope my stories and poems are enjoyed by the readers.
