The Fun Fact Friday prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS
On this day in 1993, ostrich meat was officially declared fit for human consumption in France. What's the strangest food you've ever tried, or would want to try?

The strangest foods I've ever consumed was shark and raw oysters (not at the same meal). That was in my younger years, not that I'm not any less adventurous at 71 than I was at 28 or 30 (whatever age I tried the foods). Today I'm more aware of pollutants and endangered species. I will eat almost anything except an endangered species or a food I think may have some type of pollutant because of the trash and chemicals dumped in the ocean.

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for DAY 1550
Have fun with these words--assume, disposition, last, bond, minimize, applaud, spirit.

Generosity

Applaud the selflessness,
and sacrificial generosity
of others,
but never assume
you have nothing to give.

The older I get,
the more I realize
that prosperity
is a condition of the spirit,
or an individual opinion.

If a person's disposition
is to be generous,
that individual will give
of the wealth they have;
it doesn't matter
if they are rich in money,
time,
material object,
joy,
faith,
or whatever
they will give generously
of the wealth they have.

The virtue of generosity
can't be minimize
by human created definitions
of prosperity,
because generosity
is a spiritual attribute
which builds bond
and will last
beyond the soul's separation
from the body.
