Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: April 16 is Save The Elephant Day. Write a blog entry about Pachyderms. Do you have any memories of elephants you have seen?"

I have only seen one live elephant in my entire life. I was just a child, maybe 13 or so. The elephant was in a circus that had come to town, which also happened to be the only circus I ever saw. I guess maybe I have lived a sheltered life but I'm just a poor sap when it comes to worldly things. However I am a child of the most high God and that makes me very rich. I am an heir with Christ and He owns the cattle on every hill. He owns the hills themselves so I own everything too.

Blog City image small "Prompt: Is opportunity something that happens or comes to you on its own or is it something you can create for yourself? If both, which one applies more to your life?"

I like to think that opportunity is something that presents itself. For example I would like to take this opportunity to ask everybody to live holy lives devoted to Jesus Christ. Holy living is not something we do. It is something the Holy Spirit does through us. If you are saved you can live a holy life by simply praying and asking God to make you holy and then obeying his commands.
