Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "Find a coin and look it over. Pick any detail as the inspiration for a poem, story or blog entry."

Any coin I find would be an American coin. It would have the words "In God we trust" engraved on it. That begs the question "If we trust God then why don't more people obey Him? I am chaplain of a veteran's home and as such I deal with people all the time who tell me they trust God. Yet when the chapel is in session only a handful show up. People say one thing and do another. Yet these same people are very quick to point the finger at those who do attend church and call the ones who do attend hypocrites. Nobody who attends church is perfect. If we could be perfect then Christ died in vain. However Christ died because people can never be perfect. What is so complicated about that? Church is an organization of sinners for sinners.
