Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt:"October 14 is Indigenous Peoples Day . Let this day inspire your blog entry."

We have been studying this in my history class at Marshall. The US government denies that the USA is an empire. Yet through out our history we have annexed other countries and taken over their territory. The indigenous people of the USA, the Native American tribes, were driven off their property as we expanded westward. Yet we are not an imperialist state? I believe history clearly states that the USA is an empire!
