49 degrees at 10 am. and not warming up. *Cloudgrey*

I'm going to lay back down.

Got up to visit friends. Scored pork ribs. Went shopping. Bought an odd assortment of non-perishables plus lemon merengue pie. Just ate some.

Stuck my nose in lilac bushes and irises there and back. I love this smelly time of year.

It's now 56 breezy degrees at 4:40 pm.

My comment: "I have something written that I need to edit and submit... just because I need to be rid of it. There's always another lyric line to be read or written."

Another re learning styles: "I don't quite know how to answer this question. I avoided groups for such a long time. But what works? Repetition? Like learning French songs as a child or gardening. When it came to typing I was one or two fingers. Now? I use multiple fingers but not the right ones. But a task that was difficult became easy (or at least easier) when I did it my own way. Like writing. My mother helped. As a left hander I learned by age 10 to not listen to teachers who thought there was a right way (as in right-handed, linear, yada yada...) and a wrong way to do things.

I can't learn from mere visual or audio. My eyes have always been bad and my ears ... say what? I watch Thai BL stories because close up I can watch the expressions, listen to the cadense, learn that 'na' = 'please' but there are many ways to say it! I laugh when I hear a pleading 'na na na na na'. In context I know exactly what it means. *Laugh*

Yes, I like books. I seldom read a book these days, but blogs, news articles, anything and everything. I bought tea today. I now know that 3 of my 4 teas have cinnamon in them (I read labels).

I like to talk, share my knowledge, experience and opinions. Groups are still a problem. Small is better. No expectations is best. I love big cities in a way. I can be anonymous. A group like the Senior Center here can be daunting. I stayed far away from fraternities and sororities in college. I feared losing 'me'."

55 clear degrees at 8:11. It seems dark in my rooms... and then I realize the sun is on the north side of the building (only on the south side 7:40-7:40). It's also cooling to below 40 tonight. I should enjoy it while I can as 90 is forecast next Wednesday.
