For my blog Prompt:
Jeremiah 17:14
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

This verse is talking about both physical and spiritual healing. What connection co you think healing and praise have? Do you think healing or praise comes first?

I tend to believe that either can come first. The reason for my thinking is that God has carried me through many sicknesses when I did not know I was sick. I had a 90% blockage of the left atrial artery, the one they call the "widow maker". I had three mild heart attacks if there is such a thing before having surgery to fix it. The doctor said I was a miracle. I also had a blockage of the renal duct, the big duct in the right kidney. My kidney nearly ruptured. Yet i was unaware of the problem until it hurt. God kept me from dying. So praise in those situations came after healing. In other situations I praised God because I knew He would heal me. My basil cell carcinoma on my face was an example.

Nothing is impossible.

I believe some things are impossible for humans. It is impossible for me to run a marathon for example. I can't walk 300 feet without hurting so running is impossible and will remain impossible. Some things are impossible.
