Still Only Two Short Stories for This Month

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any chances to work on either one of these short stories since last Tuesday. I wanted to work on them after work for the past week. But I didn’t get the chance to do it. Mostly because I was too tired to do any writing. I wanted to do it. And I was going to get some writing done on these short stories. But I was just too tired to do any of it.

If I remember the last five days right, I did come home only slightly tired. That means that I could have written something on these short stories. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen either. I was still very tired. Just not as tired as the other three days.

Well, that isn’t exactly true. True, I didn’t get any physical writing done the last five days. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on them. Because I have. I have been thinking a lot about both of them. In fact, if my mind was a recorder, I would have them both already written. Of course, if that was possible that would solve a lot of my problems writing at work too.

So, what have I written on these short stories today? That is a very good question. Unfortunately, I don’t have a very good answer for it. Don’t get me wrong. I have had a little bit of time to work on them. But I haven’t had that much time to do it. What is the usual reason I don’t get as much writing as I can do on my days off from work? there are two of them.

Unfortunately, both of those reasons are why I didn’t get too much writing done today so far. One reason is that my brother and I had a lot that needed to be done today. And that is sort of true. We did have quite a bit to do. But it wasn’t as bad as it often is. It was still bad enough for it to take us almost the whole day to do it.

The second reason I don’t get too much writing done is because of a lack of sleep. Unfortunately, that is what happened to me last night. I wanted to get some sleep. Even tried to do it a little bit earlier than I usually do on my first day off from work. But I still couldn’t do it. True, I did get a little bit more than normal. It wasn’t that much more, though. About an hour or two at the most.

Will I get to do any more writing after I finish writing and posting this blog entry? That is my plan. But I don’t think that I will do it. I want to continue working on my WDC Short Story. And I know that I need to do it. But because of my lack of sleep last night, I don’t think that I will. In fact, I’m probably going to be going to sleep soon after I finish posting this blog entry.
