First Half of Teaser Act Finished

It’s true, I only got five scenes written for the first episode for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But by doing them, I am halfway through my Teaser Act. I don’t know if my thinking about re-writing this Act is right or not. But it’s starting to look like it is. After all, I am about where I left off last Sunday. And it’s looking a lot better. It’s more showing than telling this time around. At least I think that it is.

Also true, it wasn’t easy to get these five scenes written yesterday at work. In fact, I barely got them written. What is the usual reason why I don’t get as much writing as I want to get written wrote? That’s right. It’s work. and yesterday is no exception. A lot of the reason why I didn’t more than five scenes written for this project was because of work. it was extremely busy there yesterday. One of the busiest Fridays I have seen in a long time.

If it’s not the busiest one this year so far. That’s kind of hard to believe since most of my Fridays have been very busy. Especially, the last few months. But it could be the busiest one to date. Whether it was or not the busiest, it still slowed me down a little when it comes to my writing. The first two hours are normally the busiest. And the last two hours are too. That is true for yesterday. But the middle four usually aren’t. They were yesterday.

Work wasn’t the only reason why I only got five scenes written yesterday. The main reason is me. No, it wasn’t sleeping or the lack of concentration like it normally is. I knew what I wanted to write. But I didn’t know how to write it. Especially, on the first two. The first one took me almost two hours to write. And the second scene took me about an hour and a half. Luckily the last three didn’t take that long.

Hopefully, today will be just as good. Of course, I hope that it’s a little bit better than yesterday. And it should be since it’s a Saturday. But it hasn’t been that way for quite a while. The weekend has been just as productive as the weekdays. If I’m lucky I will get five of them done. That’s why I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.
