When Darkness Prevails
The dark side
plays and taunts
teases and presses
its advantage
In a moment of weakness
the shadow side
creeps out
slips past
our moral compass
and opens Pandora's box.
What horrors escape?
What demons preside?
What chaos does ensue?
When darkness wins
and we fall
prey to its
willful desires
and lose ourselves
forever.
