It happened within a few minutes after I wrote my last blog entry yesterday. If it wasn’t sooner than that. As soon as I finished posting my last blog entry, I brought up my Short Story for this month’s WDC contest. All I had was the prompt for it. But all I needed to do was stare at that for a little bit. And I remembered a Short Story that related to this prompt.

It’s still a weird and confusing prompt that makes no sense to me. But most of the prompts like that are just as weird and confusing as this one is. That’s why it took me a little longer to remember a Short Story that related to it. I knew that I would do it. Just didn’t know how long it would take me to remember it. I’m very happy that it didn’t take me a long time to do it.

Unfortunately, that’s about all I have done with this Short Story. Well, that isn’t exactly true. I have come up with a title for it. And I wrote a few paragraphs loosely outlining it too. I’ve done that a lot in a lot of my Short Stories lately. If not all of them. It helps me to write them. I even remembered the six parts that I have put into single sentences.

That’s all that I have done so far with this Short Story. Unfortunately, I haven’t had too much time to work on it today. It’s been a very normal second day off from work. We didn’t have a whole lot that needed to get done today. But what we did have to do took up most of the day to do it. Normally, I would write that this is the first chance that I have gotten to get on my laptop today. That isn’t true. Most of what I have written on this Short Story so far has been today.

Will I continue to work on it after I write and post this blog entry? The answer to that question is that is what I plan on doing. And as far as I know, there is nothing to stop me from doing it. as for how much more I will get done on it, I’m not sure. It depends on how much longer I’m up before I go to sleep tonight. After all, I must go back to work tomorrow.
