Another Wasted Day Off

At least it has been when it comes to working on my WDC Short Story for this month. Why haven’t I gotten any writing done today on this Short Story? What is the usual reason why I don’t get any writing done? That’s right. It’s because there have been things that needed to be done today. and it took me all day to do them. That has been one of those days. But that’s not all, though.

It has been one of the worst first days off from work that I have had in a long time. If it isn’t the worst one so far. That’s how busy that it has been today for my brother and me. It all started very early this morning. And it ended only a few minutes before I started writing this blog entry for today. As soon as we got home, is started writing this blog entry.

Will I continue to work on this Short Story after I get done writing this blog entry? That is what I plan on doing. But as for if I will, I may not be able to do that. Why won’t I be able to continue working on this Short Story? What is the normal reason why I don’t? Once again, that’s right. It’s because of a lack of sleep the night before. Unfortunately, that is what happened today too.

I only got about four hours of sleep last night. Maybe close to five, if I’m lucky. As a result, I’m still very tired. So, more than likely, I’m going to be going to sleep soon after I get finished with this blog entry. It may not be quite that soon. But it will be within the next hour or two. That’s how tired that I am.

Of course, I want to stay awake and work on the first Short Story for this month. Then maybe I shouldn’t. With my lack of sleep problem, there are two ways that this may not be the time to work on it. One reason is I may not be able to write anything because of my tiredness. The second reason is more likely. What I do write, I won’t like. As a result, I will probably be re-writing it anyway.

That’s right. I wrote it correctly. I’ve got two short stories to write this month. Just found out about it shortly before I went to sleep last Tuesday night. It didn’t take me long to remember a Short Story that went with this prompt. Then again, it wasn’t that easy either. Just like the WDC prompt for this month, it was a little bit hard to do. But it wasn’t as hard. The WDC Short Story takes top priority, though. I’ve going to finish writing it first.
