Up in the Air Again

I’m still up in the air when it comes to my Water Wars scriptwriting project. It all started when I started writing down the scene numbers for my different characters. That’s right. I had to handwrite them again. Anyway, when I was doing it, I noticed that there were a lot of overlapping character scenes. Thought that I eliminated them. But it looks like I didn’t.

What was I going to do now? I’m not surprised that there were maybe one or two of them. But there was a lot more than that. I didn’t know what to do. then almost instantly, I thought that maybe I could do the longer version after all. If I could do it with the shorter one, why not with the longer one. Especially, since I had only one or two in the longer version too.

So, I went back to working on figuring it out. And it didn’t take me too long to do it either. At least it didn’t with Chaad, Suuri, and Hoolle. It did take me a little longer to do it with Reen, Voonc, and Kiirra. But not that much longer. I finished doing it with about an hour to spare with the end of my shift yesterday at work.

Now all I needed to do is plug in those character scenes to see how much of a match it was for my six main characters for this project. And I did that when I got home from work. Which I did do. It just took me a little bit longer than I expected it would to do it. I didn’t like the results too much. Oh, they matched up very well. But it was still kind of a mess.

What was I going to do now? I decided to go back to my original forty-five-minute scripts. If I can do it with the longer versions, why can’t I do it with these too? I haven’t had too much time to work on it tonight before I go to sleep for the night. But I have gotten a little bit of it written.

Unfortunately, I may not have too much time today at work to work on it. After all, I already know that I’m doing another split shift at work today. I’m going to try to work on it after I get to my regular post. But it all depends on what happens to me during the first four hours of my shift. If it’s like most of the time that I am at what I call the Main Gate, I probably won’t feel like working on it.
