A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Finally a Good Split Shift Normally, I hate split shifts at work. But I can’t write that anymore. Yesterday was another split shift. Only this one was a good one. Not because I was at what I call the main gate instead of my old post for the first four hours of my shift, but because of what happened Wednesday. I only had the Tag Act left to write yesterday at work to finish the single sentences for the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And that’s what I did yesterday. True, I only had twenty of them to write. but it still took me almost four hours to write them. I’m not sure about the first four hours of my shift because I wasn’t there. But the last four were extremely busy. One of the busiest Thursdays that I have seen in a long time. if it wasn’t the busiest one. That’s how busy it was. It’s also why I barely got those twenty single sentences written. Of course, I wanted to get started on the single sentences for the second episode Scene Outline. But after taking me so long to get the Twenty Tag Act ones for my first episode, I’m kind of glad that I had a split shift yesterday at work. I know how that reads. But that’s how I feel. If I had my full shift at my regular post, I probably would have only gotten one or two Acts written for my second episode. Of course, that would have almost equaled one day’s worth of single sentences if not for what happened to me on Wednesday. In a way, I’m kind of glad that I only got those twenty single sentences written at work yesterday. True, it means another day or two before I can finish writing all of these single sentences. But I get to start the second episode from the beginning today instead of partially the way through it. I hope that I can get the first half of the second episode written today at work aka ninety single sentences. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens. After all, today is a weekday. And it is that time of year when where I work is extremely busy. Especially, during the weekdays. It’s not just how busy it gets there, though. I also need to deal with anything that who I work for has in store for me today. I hope that there isn’t going to be any drama from them today. But I wouldn’t be surprised if there was. I’m just not sure what that surprise will be.
