I'm Not Surprised
I’m Not Surprised

No, the above blog title isn’t because I did another split shift yesterday at work. I did work at my regular post all of my shift yesterday. What I’m not surprised about was how busy that it got there. After all, there are only a few more days until it’s Christmas. And this is the busiest time of the year where I work. That’s why I wasn’t surprised about how busy it was yesterday at work.

It wasn’t the busiest Wednesday that I have worked at my regular post. But because of the new changes started a few weeks ago, it was even busier than the worst one. I was on my feet a whole lot yesterday. A lot more than I should have been. And most of those times I was outside of my guard post. Another reason why it was the worst one that I have ever had. At least I think that it is.

Despite having to get up and down every few seconds, I still managed to finish writing the second half of the second episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I barely got it done, though. That’s how busy it was there yesterday. Okay, so maybe it wasn’t seconds. But there were a lot of times that it was. Most of the time it was within a minute or two. With it mostly being a minute.

I’m kind of surprised that I did get it done because of how busy it was there. But I did. Now it’s time to start working on the Scene Outline for the third episode of this project. I’m going to start working on it today. And I’m going to try to get the first half of it written today. If I can do it yesterday, there’s no reason why I can’t do it today too. Besides it being busier, the only thing that might stop me from doing it was another split shift.

If I can get half of these episodes done in the next four days, I will be finished with the single sentences Scene Outline by the end of Sunday. And if that happens, then I will start the single paragraphs for these Outlines. I’m just not sure if I’m going to start with the Story Outlines or the Scene Outlines first.

I will probably start with the Story Outlines first. After all, if they do change during the Scene Outline, I can always go back to re-write that paragraph. But I haven’t decided on that yet. I still need to finish the single sentences before I can start working on the paragraph Outlines. And I’m not going to be getting to them until next Wednesday if I’m lucky.
