Another Slight Change

It’s not as bad as the above blog title reads. I did have a slight change at work yesterday. And I’m not writing about the change that started at work a few weeks ago. I’m writing about what I had to do yesterday when it comes to me working on the third episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. The worst part of what happened is that it’s all my fault.

I would like to blame work for it happening. But I can’t do that this time. That’s because it is my fault. I should have checked my tablet before I went to work yesterday. What am I writing about? When I got to work yesterday, I opened up my Office APP and selected my third episode Scene Outline. Only that wasn’t what came up.

Well, in a way, it did. It did come up. But it was blank. Nothing was on it. I checked episode four too. And it was the same way. For a few seconds, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to get any writing done yesterday at work. But it was only a few seconds before I realized that I could still do it. Only I couldn’t with my tablet.

had to go back to my handwriting with paper and pencils. And that’s what I did. Luckily, I had my printout for my single sentences Story Outline. So, all I needed to do was to put those Character Initials into the correct numerical order. That took me almost two hours to do. But a lot of that time was like that because of work.

With the two hours of my shift already gone, that only left six hours to handwrite these single sentences. I was pretty sure that I could get half of it done. But because of the day being wasted doing it this way, I really needed to write the whole episode this way. It wasn’t easy to do because of work. I did do it, though.

Speaking of work, it was very, very busy there yesterday. That’s why I wasn’t sure if I would even get half of episode three written. I know that it’s that time of year. And with Christmas only a couple of days away. But I didn’t expect it to be as busy as it was. I expected it to be very busy. Not as busy as it was for a Thursday.

When I got home, the first thing that I did was to put episodes three and four Scene Outlines into my tablet. I didn’t check it, but it should be there. If for some reason it isn’t, I can do another handwriting day. Only this time it would be for episode four. I don’t think that is going to happen. I’m sure they are on my tablet now.

Don’t know if I will be able to get all of episode three entered into my tablet today. But I think that I can. At least I hope that I will be able to do it. It all depends on where I work and who I work for. If I’m lucky, both will give me the opportunity to do it. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.
