Not What I Expected Yesterday
Not What I Expected Yesterday

It’s Christmas today. But this blog entry is about yesterday at work. And how slow it was. It was more like a Saturday than a Friday. Probably because today is Christmas. I’m not really surprised about that. I kind of expected it to be slow since Christmas was on a Saturday this year. But not as slow as it was.

Unfortunately, that slowness didn’t help with my writing too much. That’s because when I went to work yesterday, I found out that my character numeric Act list didn’t upload to my tablet from my laptop. Something else I don’t like about The Cloud. luckily, I thought that something like that would happen. And I came prepared.

Once again, I had to handwrite my fourth episode single sentence for my Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Only it didn’t take me as long to write up my line numbers. And which the main character that it belonged to. The one for my third episode took me about two hours to set up. Yesterday only took about an hour to do it.

So, I had plenty of time to write my fourth episode single sentences. Unfortunately, it still took me almost the rest of my shift to writing it. Don’t ask me my it took me so long to write one hundred and eighty single sentences. Because I don’t know why. Usually, it’s because of how busy it is at work that’s the answer to why. But I can’t use that excuse for yesterday.

When I got home tonight from work, the first thing that I did was to make sure that my tablet was updated. And now it is. At least it is right now. Who knows what it will be when I get to work in about eleven hours. I think that it will be there this time. But that’s what I thought about Friday too. So, anything is possible when it comes to where I work.

Since today is Christmas, I don’t think that it will be too busy at work. If I remember right from last year, there was a skeleton staff working at where I work. But it wasn’t very big. And where I was posted wasn’t very busy. I can remember this either. But I think that I was at my old post last year in a split-shift situation.

That should happen this year. After all, no one is supposed to be able to call in sick or take some time off Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. But that doesn’t mean that one or more will be allowed to do it. If I don’t have another split shift today, then I think that I will get episode three of this project written today.
