Almost Back to the Beginning

Another split shift last Sunday. Only this one was reversed. I did my first four hours at my regular post. And my last four at my old post. The worst thing about that was the one who relieved me at my regular post was the one who relieved me at my old post. Why didn’t they just keep me at my regular post, to begin with? I know why. It’s because they want to get rid of me again. And this will get me mad enough to do it. Well, I am mad. Very, very angry. But I’m not quitting. Nothing they can do to make me do that.

I would have gotten the fourth episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project done if I had stayed at my regular post. Was about halfway through Act Three of my single sentences when I was forced to go over to my old post. Could have maybe finished it there. but I was too angry to do it. And maybe it’s a good thing that I didn’t. I had a lot of time to think.

What did I think about? How the single sentences for my Scene Outlines were coming out. And I realized that I was doing them all wrong. There were a lot of repeats on scenes. The only difference was the scene number and which character that scene number was for. And sometimes it was the same scene number. Just a different character.

That’s when I decided that I was going to start all over again with my single sentences for my Scene Outlines. Only this time I was going to breakdown the Acts according to their character storyline. That is what I have done the last couple of days. And I think that I’m ready to start working on these today at work. As for how much of it that I get done today depends on work. Not just where I work and how busy it gets, but who I work for too. Probably the latter of the two.
