The Tongue of Poets

"Treasures lie hidden beneath the throne of God;
the key to those treasures is the tongue of poets."

The tongues of poets' are their pens,
metaphor and simile the ink,
that lets them reveal
in line and stanza,
in rhythm and rhyme
the divine gems
concealed beneath God's throne.
