Not Too Much to Write About Today

It’s the end of another month. And I did finish my latest Short Story by the end of it. True, it was my only Short Story this month. But it took me the whole month to write it. There were lots of times when I didn’t think that I would get it finished. But I did do it with almost a week to spare.

It wasn’t an easy write, though. I knew what I wanted to write. But I just didn’t have the time to write it. One thing after another prevented me from doing it. If this was my second Short Story of the month, I probably wouldn’t have gotten it written. That’s how busy it has been during my days off from work.

True, I didn’t just have my days off from work to write this Short Story. But like my days off, one reason after another I didn’t get any writing finished after I got home from work. I wanted to do some writing. Even a few words are better than none at all. At least that might be right by others. But it’s not when it comes to me and my writing.

often, when I write something, I end up re-writing it once or more times because for one reason or another I didn’t like how it turned out. So, I re-wrote it. Sometimes more than once. As it turns out, it doesn’t matter, though. No matter how well I think that my short stories are, they aren’t well received.

Most of that is the genre that I write in most of the time aka Science Faction. No, that isn’t a misspelling. I only write the truth. But only when it comes to my Science Faction. My other stories a made up. Not my Science Faction, though. That is true. I know that most think that I’m crazy or worse. But I don’t care.

I don’t expect too many will believe me. And the few who might will be labeled crazy or worse too. Some might think that it’s possible. But very unlikely. Overall, I believe that what I write is true with my Science Faction. And that’s all that counts. They say to write what you know. Science Faction is what I know.

got a little bit carried away there. Once section I’m writing about writing my short stories or re-writing them. And next, I’m blogging about what genre I write the most. Why am I writing any of this? It’s because I have nothing else to write about today since I’m finished with my one and only Short Story for this month.
