The WDC Prompt for This Month

I try to go online on WDC several times a day. It’s not too hard to do on my days off. But it can be at work. I can still do it at work. It’s harder to go online at work, though. When I do, I mostly check my email. But I also do it to see if the WDC contest for this month has been posted.

Of course, I do it for any other contest or challenges that I’m interested in. But at the beginning of the month, I look for the WDC contest prompt. It sometimes comes on the second or third day of the month. We were lucky that it came in today a few hours ago. At least it did for me.

My brother and I had a lot of things that we needed to do today. Mostly because of the upcoming bad weather that’s supposed to start hitting us this evening for the next couple of days. In fact, it has already started by the time I start writing this blog entry.

We also had a few other things that needed doing today. While we were doing them, is when I checked my WDC accounts. The first time that I did it, I didn’t see any prompt for the new WDC Short Story Contest. But the second time, or was it the third time, I did the new prompt was there. And they choose a good one for this month. At least I think it is.

I have used this genre several times in my short stories, scripts, etc. Even if I didn’t include it in my Creations, it was there. Usually, I did place them in one of my three Creation connections. Normally, the first or second genre category. But sometimes it wasn’t.

Unfortunately, that’s all that I have done today with my WDC Short Story. Not because I haven’t had the time to work on it. That is usually the reason why. But today it was kind of the opposite. I had a lot of time to think about it. But not the time to do anything about it.

What do I mean by that? It means that I have so many possibilities when it comes to what story I want to write, I haven’t decided which one I have to do. It will most likely be a Science Faction Short Story. But which Action/Adventure it will be I haven’t decided on yet.
