Moss

I delight in moss greening
at the base of cold brick walls,
protected from the harsh cruel sun,
holding on to every drop of moisture.

I seek refuge in two rooms,
geraniums blooming by the windows,
books holding up thin walls,
each drop of inspiration from my Muse.
