Nothing to Worry About
Nothing to Worry About

When I was heading for our new house, I was still a little bit worried about me not going to work yesterday. But just around twelve-thirty WDC time, I got a call from someone in the office. He was a he. But that’s all I can say. Anyway, this someone told me that I had nothing to worry about. At least when it comes to where I work.

Still not sure about my Vacation Time Off. Since I didn’t go to work yesterday, I may not hear about it until next Wednesday when I have my next weekday. After all, my Site Supervisor mostly just works during weekdays. He does work on the weekend every so often. So, he may be there today or tomorrow. But there’s also a good chance that he won’t be there either.

Of course, there is also a good chance that I don’t have a problem with that either. When I wrote up my Hotline Report, I mentioned it. Maybe my someone from above already talked to my Site Supervisor and told him to approve that too. I hope that is what happened. But I’m not going to count on it until it happens, though.

Unfortunately, I spent almost the whole day getting our new house. As a result, I didn’t get any writing done today. By the time we got home yesterday evening, I was too tired to do anything. In fact, I dozed off soon after I ate. Luckily, I got up in time to write this blog entry.

Today, I’m going back to work. There isn’t supposed to be any retaliation for me taking off yesterday. But I’m not going to believe that until it doesn’t happen. My Site Supervisor can’t fire me because of yesterday. But that doesn’t mean he can’t take away my writing privileges or me watching television shows and movies on my cell phone.

A lot about what may happen depends on if he’s working one or both days this weekend. If he is, something like what is right above may happen. But if he isn’t, the Field Supervisor can still do it. I’m hoping that neither one will happen. But there is always a good chance that it will.

If I am allowed to continue my writing, I’m going to continue to work on the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. It’s been a couple of days since I worked on this project. And I can’t remember where I left off. But wherever it was, I’m going to get as many single paragraphs written as I can.
